This course unit introduces students to the fundamentals of quantitative data analysis in educational and social contexts. It equips them with the foundational skills needed to read, understand, and critically assess statistical data found in reports or articles. Students learn to produce simple statistical summaries, interpret graphs, and use digital tools—particularly Excel—to explore datasets. The course also introduces basic principles of sampling and survey methodology.
