The USJ Career and Placement Office Launches the “Future Skills Readiness Bootcamps Week 2026

In a rapidly evolving professional landscape shaped by technological transformation, sustainability challenges, and new market expectations, Saint Joseph University of Beirut continues to support students in developing the skills needed for the future of work.

The USJ Career and Placement Office is pleased to announce the launch of the "Future Skills Readiness Bootcamps Week 2026," which will take place from June 8 to 12, 2026, at the Medical Sciences Campus – Damascus Road, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Designed for USJ students from all faculties and academic backgrounds, this initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional realities through practical, interactive, and industry-oriented training sessions.

Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to engage in several specialized bootcamps and workshops focused on key competencies increasingly demanded in today’s job market:

  • Career Development Bootcamp (3 Days)
    Helping students strengthen their employability skills, improve their professional positioning, and prepare for internships and job opportunities.
  • Event Management Bootcamp (3 Days)
    Providing practical insights into event planning, coordination, communication, and execution within professional environments.
  • Consultancy Bootcamp (3 Days)
    Introducing students to consulting methodologies, problem-solving approaches, teamwork dynamics, and strategic thinking.
  • Deloitte: Green Skills for a Green Economy Workshop (1 Day)
    Exploring sustainability, environmental responsibility, and the emerging green skills required in future industries.
  • Trainable: Learn the Basics of AI Workshop (1 Day)
    Offering an introduction to artificial intelligence concepts, applications, and the growing impact of AI across sectors and professions.

Through this initiative, the Career and Placement Office reaffirms its commitment to empowering students with practical knowledge, transferable skills, and exposure to emerging professional trends. The bootcamps also provide valuable networking opportunities with professionals, trainers, and experts from different industries.
