The Executive Board assists the Rector in managing the University. It prepares the agenda of the University Council sessions and carries out the tasks assigned to it by the Rector or the University Council, and so through permanent or occasional delegation.

The Executive Board meets at the invitation of the Rector, or at least eleven times a year. It also meets when circumstances require it to do so.
