This course introduces the student to adapting source material to written script for the screen. Students will learn how to approach different types of source material (novels, short stories, articles, essays.. etc.) and how to transform them into a “filmable” screenplay. Building on screenwriting concepts gained in Screenwriting Workshop 1, students will deliver 2 pieces of writing (one Arabic, one English), of different genres and based on different source material.
