Lateral ridge augmentation using cross-linked or non-cross-linked collagen membrane with a composite allograft-xenograft mix: a pilot randomized clinical trial

Description :

This pilot study will compare, in a guided bone regeneration model, two types of collagen membranes: Cross-linked collagen membrane and non-cross-linked collagen membrane with the use of anorganic bovine bone mixed with allograft particules in 1:1 ratio. Graft resorption and bone volume gained will be calculated on DICOM files. The comparasion of the outcomes will allow a better understanding of the barrier function during bone regeneration.
