“The Butterfly Ring”: A three-dimensional soft tissue augmentation technique around dental implants placed in the posterior mandible: A clinical prospective study.

To our knowledge there is no soft tissue augmentation technique that increases, in one shot, the KMW, MT and STH around implants in the posterior mandible. Therefore, the aim of this research was to evaluate the effect of introduce a three-dimensional (3D) soft tissue augmentation technique around dental implants, placed in the posterior mandible of healthy or moderately periodontally compromised patients, on that increases the soft tissue volume, KMW, MT and STH in one surgery.
