Saint Joseph University in Dubai is looking to recruit a librarian / Administrative Assistant on a full time basis (working time is from 8 to 5 for 3 days per week, 12 to 9 for 2 days per week and 1 Saturday per month). The position is to be filled immediately.
Salary range: 8000 aed NET (including Transport Allowances)
Required Skills:
- Good level in English/ and Arabic Languages (spoken and written); French is a plus.
- Good typing skills in Arabic and English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet.
- Excellent Organizational Skills and Good communication skills
- Energetic
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of academic/university sectors
Job description includes:
- Day to day management (including filing and referencing) of the Library and books borrowing
- Initiating faculty and students on access to available online resources
- Typing
- Answer the phone and screen calls
- Tests and Exams proctoring and providing support in the exam process as requested
- Organizing the printing and distribution of course materials to students and other documents
- Gather and file documents, information and files
- Perform research and data collection as requested
- Organization of students extra-curricular activities
- Creation of documents (flyers, announcements etc…) and executions of travel arrangements and other bookings as requested for guests and faculty members visiting the Dubai Campus
