Corporate Governance

Corporate governance involves a set of relationships between the management of a company, its board, its shareholders and other stakeholders. It provides the structure through which the objectives of the company are set, the means of attaining those objectives are implemented and performance of the company is monitored. This course provides students with in-depth view of global best practices in corporate governance, corporate structures, legal and regulatory frameworks of corporate governance, the board of directors, executive management, ownership and role of shareholders, reporting and auditing, stakeholders interests and corporate social responsibility.
