Predictive value of the molecular profiling in post-operative patients with localized gastric cancer treated with chemoradiotherapy.

Description :

This is a retrospective study evaluating the clinical and molecular profiles in 30 patients diagnosed with localized gastric cancer and receiving adjuvant chemoradiotherapy. The inclusion criteria are met if the patients are 18 and above, if they were diagnosed with localized gastric cancer (having the intestinal, diffuse types or mixed). The confirmed diagnosis is based on a histological confirmation of gastric cancer through a biopsy with available pathological material or surgery. Patients were also included if they received the appropriate treatment: surgical resection followed by adjuvant chemoradiotherapy. The genes of interest are around 67 and the final number of genes will be defined upon the feasibility of elaborating a tailored panel englobing the vast majority of these genes. The NGS technique will be effectuated in France and the analysis of the results in UGM.
