Mindfulness and wellbeing

This course unit introduces the mindfulness practice as a way of life and tools to discover a new and more efficient way to dealing with stress, for the students in Speech Therapy and the general population. It promotes personal, relational, and overall wellbeing. It’s an invitation to cultivate attentiveness, presence, as well as self-awareness and selfcare and active mindful listening in general and in their professional practices. Through accessible theory, guided exercises, and sensory and reflective activities, participants will explore mindfulness practices. (such as conscious breathing and emotional observation) and discover ways to apply them in multiple settings and in daily life.
