Solidarity is an essential value. Being in solidarity means that we are attentive to the needs of our society and our fellow citizens. It also means that we are grateful for what we have and aware of the graces we live with. For these reasons, I decided to help people in need through the food drive of USJ en mission – Ketfe Bi Ketfak, to support the mission of USJ during this serious economic crisis that is affecting Lebanon and its citizens.
My civic engagement strives to promote justice in a society that is devoid of it. By engaging in shared philanthropy, each to the extent of their abilities, and by partnering with each other, we can move mountains and achieve wonders.
