The course main objective is to introduce the first-year students to the written expressions and techniques. At the end of this course, the student should be able to quickly grasp the meaning of a text, take notes quickly and well, write in English and French any form of commercial correspondence (letter, memorandum, rendering, etc.), to communicate professionally via the Internet (e-mail), and to develop a research work (in substance and in form)
