Relevance and Importance: - It's impossible to navigate the business world without knowing the rules that organize and govern it, enabling: - Conduct of known activities; - Learning new profit-making techniques; - Avoiding or minimizing losses (penalties, damages, etc.). - Essential as a foundational subject for access to other management subjects and related professions: - Corporate Accounting; - Finance; - Banking and Stock Exchange; - Other useful legal branches: Labor Law, Social Security, Tax Law. 2. Objective: To provide students with sufficient knowledge, mathematical reasoning, and practical insight into the institutions and techniques used in the business world, starting from commercial acts to simple or complex commercial companies, including merchants, business funds, and other necessary tools.
