Compressive Strength Comparison between Zirconium and Peek frameworks in all on four prosthesis : an in vitro study .

Description :

The aim of this study is to compare stress distribution on two different framework materials (Zirconia and Peek) and compare them to nickel–chromium framework as a control group in two different cantilever lengths. Materials and Methods: 22 frameworks will be fabricated (10 zirconia, 10 peek, 2 nickel-chromium). These frameworks will be connected to resin models through 3 pairs of implants (2 anterior implants placed perpendicular to the resin block surface, and one posterior distally tilted implant An axial load 200N will be applied on two different cantilever lengths (10 mm,15 mm) with a universal testing machine (Instron), performed at a speed of 0.5 mm/min until complete breakdown
