Evaluation of fracture resistance of composite resin and glass ionomer in beveled versus non beveled tooth preparation of Class II Restorations in primary molars : In Vitro comparative study

Description :

The purpose is to study the fracture resistance of the composite and glass ionomer restorations in the class II conventional cavities and modified by adding a bevel. The sample is: 40 extracted primary molars with intact proximal surfaces “ the extraction of the molars is not related to the study and they are randomly collected”( in vitro study). The teeth should be place at the metal Jig of the machine and the steel cylinder must be applied with a speed of 1mm / min on the samples. The fracture resistance of composite and CVI restorations will be tested using the universal testing machine.
