8 avril 2022

As part of its continuous strategy of enriching its students’ academic path through the interventions of external experts in various fields and with the aim of explaining the multidimensional crisis that we are currently going through and the various ways out of it, the Faculty of Business and Management had the pleasure and honor to host Mr. Ziad-Alexandre Hayek, for a conference entitled "Lebanon: Failures and Improvements of Economic Policy" as part of the economic policy bachelor course.
Mr. Hayek is the President of the World Association of Public-Private Partnership Units and Professionals, former Chairman of the Supreme Privatization Council in Lebanon, and previous candidate for the presidency of the World Bank.
During this enriching conference, our prominent guest tackled meticulously the Lebanese crisis causes and effects highlighting the importance of the principles of good governance to overcome it.
Many thanks to Mr. Hayek for his very informative and enriching presentation as well as to our colleague Pr. Nicole Ballouz Baker for coordinating this conference and to our student and alumni for their active presence and participation in this debate .
