It was a true pleasure to attend the conference held during the visit of Reverend Arturo Sosa Abascal, S.J., which brought together students from across the university. The event offered a unique opportunity to hear heartfelt testimonies from both current students and alumni, reflecting on their academic journeys at USJ.
Students from a variety of disciplines graciously shared glimpses into their daily lives, some even created engaging videos that took us along with them through a typical day on campus. It was truly moving to witness university life from so many different perspectives, each shaped by distinct fields of study, personal stories, and involvement in diverse clubs and campus activities.
Through these narratives, we saw not only the challenges faced by students amid difficult circumstances, but also the unwavering support extended by the USJ community. These stories were a powerful testament to the resilience that defines us, not just as Lebanese, but as proud members of the USJ family.
The session concluded with a heartfelt thank-you from Reverend Arturo Sosa Abascal, S.J., acknowledging the dedication we’ve poured into this event and into our academic paths despite adversity. His words left us empowered, reminding us of the strength we carry within and the enduring spirit that continues to guide us forward.
