The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program is back! The program is available again for university professors to pursue research or teach at a university in the United States.
This program offers Lebanese scholars a unique opportunity to establish professional contacts in their fields, develop collaborative research relationships with U.S. counterparts, and enhance their publications and professional experience.
Lebanese scholars may seek affiliations with US institutions of higher learning for a period between 3 to 10 months. The U.S. Department of State will provide the selected participants from Lebanon with a monthly stipend to cover their living and lodging expenses in addition to the roundtrip airfare, visa fees, medical insurance and other incidentals. Program participants may bring their dependents to the United States; a small funding will be also provided to cover one dependent’s airfare and expenses.
