Théories du développement plurilingue

Le plurilinguisme est un phénomène très répandu avec l’expansion des cultures et les phénomènes de mondialisation. Le développement plurilingue et monolingue sont caractérisés par des similarités et des différences que tout clinicien de langage devrait connaitre et maitriser en vue de mieux évaluer les performances langagières des enfants et d’en comprendre les particularités dans les milieux plurilingues. Cette connaissance des patterns du développement plurilingue permettra d’affiner l’évaluation et d’éviter les phénomènes de sur ou de sous-diagnostics des troubles du langage.
