Admissions for International Candidates

Non-Lebanese candidates who have completed their secondary education (grades 10, 11 and 12) in a foreign institution benefit from special provisions when it comes to an early admission based on a file study, a regular admission based on competitive entrance exams or an admission based on a general average of 17/20. Candidates must specify in their application file whether or not they are international candidates. They may also be candidates for a regular admission.

Admission for International Candidates Based on a File Study
International candidates seeking admission based on a file study are allocated a quota of seats set by the institution involved.

Admission for International Candidates Based on an Entrance Exam
International candidates seeking admission based on an entrance exam during the regular admission period will benefit of a quota of seats set by the institution involved. The syllabus for the entrance exam is the same required for the regular admission for national candidates.

Title-Based Admission for International Candidates
Candidates who have achieved an average of 17/20 or above in the 2021 French Baccalaureate exams may join the institution of their choice, provided that the baccalaureate programme corresponds to the requirements of the chosen institution. Candidates have until Friday, August 20, 2021 to confirm their choice and present a certified copy of this diploma along with the transcript of their records.

Special Provisions for Lebanese Candidates Living Abroad
For Lebanese candidates having completed all their secondary education in a school abroad and who have applied for a major where selection is based on a file study, an adjustment factor designed specifically for their school will be applied so as not to disadvantage them over candidates applying from well-known schools at the University.
