I hold a doctorate in "condensed matter physics" applied to cell biology from Claude Bernard University of Lyon in France since 2009. I worked on the design and development of an optomechanical force machine allowing the characterization of multicellular materials; I contributed to the analysis of their rheological and biological specificities and to the modeling of their fluid behaviors. I pursued my career as a research engineer at CNRS then at CEA Grenoble in France in 2010, where I participated in various attractive and multidisciplinary projects, including the design and development of patterned chips elasticity for cellular bioengineering. I contributed to the development of a new rapid UV photopolymerization process in an aqueous medium (US Patent 20160002368 - 2016). I subsequently participated in the transfer of this technology to a start-up by presenting a prototype to the CEA “Technosanté” start-up incubation program. Currently, I work as a doctor-lecturer at Saint Joseph University USJ where I was recently appointed as a member of the Employability and Entrepreneurship Activity Center. At the same time, I maintain my teaching and research activity in several other Lebanese universities.
