Director of the Internal Audit and Asset Control Department Ziad EL HOYEK is an experienced accountant, recognized for his expertise in the areas of internal audit, management, asset control and risk management. His remarkable career at Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) began in 1981 when he took charge of the Accounting Department, a position he held until 2001. Since that date, he has headed the Department of Internal Audit and Asset Control, where he supervises the development and rigorous implementation of procedures, ensuring transparency, compliance, exemplary governance and effective risk management. Alongside his duties, Ziad plays a key role as an active member of the internal audit committees of Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) and Hôtel-Dieu de France (HDF). In these roles, he contributes significantly to the improvement of audit practices and the optimization of strategic resources. Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Lebanon. Ziad has also dedicated part of his career to serving the public sector and local communities. He was a member of the Bdadoun municipal council from 2004 to 2016 and treasurer of the municipality on a voluntary basis. Since 1999, he has also served as a parish treasurer, actively contributing to financial management and community activities. With more than four decades of experience in accounting and management, Ziad continues to innovate and invest in excellence in his areas of expertise. His rigor, strategic vision and commitment make him an essential reference in the field of audit, control and public management.
