Professor at the faculty of engineering
at Saint Joseph University “ESIB”.
Since 2013 and throughout the past years I
have taught the following main courses:
In parallel to the listed above main courses, I mentor students in their Midterm
project (MDP-Building Structure) for the year4-civil engineering; as well as
Final Year Project (FYP-Building Structure) for students in their year5-civil
Engineering.
In addition, I was also in charge of the following courses:

A
luxurious residential building in Solidere with 4 basements (technical area and
parking). Foundations are 6 meters below sea level, retails at ground floor, 10
stories for residential use and a pool on top of roof.
Permanent
diaphragm wall used also for shoring and during excavation and de-watering.
Total
built up area: 13,000 m2, ongoing project.
Project: Traffic improvement at Otigba Roundabout-Enugu-Nigeria.
Full design
of a three grade separation intersection, including an 150 m overpass and a
200m underpass with related infrastructure and incidental works, approximative a 30 million dollars project.
Project: Bourj Hammoud Mall BH 1920-Lebanon.

May 2001 to September 2009: Senior transportation engineer at Dar el
Handasah-Shair and Partners, in charge of preparation geometric design
of highways, railways and urban roads, complex grade separated interchanges, traffic
analysis study, signing and marking schemes, bill of quantities and project technical
specifications. Also involved in preparation of proposals, technical reports
and traffic impact studies.
Project: Northern Beirut Entrances- Lebanon
Detailed engineering design
for the realignment, improvement and rehabilitation of 34.2 km of urban
motorways (200,000 vehicles/day),28.5 km of service roads, 12 major
interchanges, and 10 overpasses.
Project: Amman Development Corridor - Jordan..
Detailed design for 41km for Amman Ring Road (Sections 1 and 2:
Zarqa Eastern Bypass and Zarqa Through Link), including 6 interchanges.
Project:
El Kassim-Madina Western Entrances - Saudi Arabia
Detailed design for a dual double carriage way
of 20 Km with 2 clover leave interchanges.
Project: Hikmeh-Turk Link Road-Lebanon
Economic feasibility study and final designs
of a 1 km long dual-carriageway road in Ashrafieh (Beirut), including 3
bridges, infrastructure utilities and traffic control devices.
Project:
Viana - Camama Road- Angola.
Final design for a 12 km long dual
carriageway urban road along the existing dirt road linking the site of the new
university to the residential area of Viana , south of Luanda.
Project: Luanda New City Centre Infrastructure -
Phases 2 and 3, Angola.
Design and parcellation plan for a
central area of the Capital that extends into the ocean, involving new
reclaimed areas and covering an area of 75 ha.
Project: New Fouad Chehab, George Haddad Intersection-
Lebanon.
Detailed engineering design and tender
documents, including a grade separation junction

Project: Jeddah - Jizan and Taif - Khamis Mushait Railway
Links, Saudi Arabia.
Study of the technical and financial feasibility,
including concept engineering design for two railway lines with respective
lengths of 660 km and 670 km.
Project: North
South and East West railways –Jordan.
Study of the preliminary design and
environmental impact assessment of 400 km railway extending from Aqaba (Jordan)
to the Syrian Borders, and a 100 km railway extending from the Dead Sea
(Jordan) towards the Iraq borders.

foreseen for 22000 spectators, comprising around 14000 lm of precast
grandstands
including a steel cover of 4000 m2 with a length of 32m in cantilever on the
West Tribune.

A tourist club of 5000m2 of built up area
including: in doors and outdoors
swimming pools, a 3 floors health club.
Project: Machnouk Residence in Solidere Beirut
An old house of 4 floors (1200m2) built with
ramleh stone, covered by a wooden tiled
roof and with a new extension of 3
basements under the existing house.
Project: Aley Entrances El Pissine and Abrouyan Overpasses
El Pissine Bridge Continuous curved reinforced ribbed slab bridge
formed of 3
spans (22.5m- 27m
– 22.5m), width of deck slab: 8m.
Abrouyan Bridge Curved reinforced
concrete slab bridge formed of 10 spans (6x15m-20m-3x15m), width of deck slab:
10m.
Project: Silo
for wheat-Beirut-Lebanon
Four reinforced concrete Silos for wheat of
150m3 capacity each, and 16m heights.
