The Faculty of Education (FSEDU) at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) participated in the initiative aimed at strengthening technical and vocational education in Lebanon that is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ GmbH) in partnership with the Directorate General for Vocational and Technical Education (DGVTE)-Lebanon.

Through this collaboration, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ GmbH) equipped school directors, teachers, in-company trainers, and skill assessors with innovative teaching methods to facilitate the integration of practical approaches into education. As part of this initiative, a ceremony was held at USJ to award competency certificates to training graduates, as well as quality seals to organizations and institutions that met the project’s criteria.

The event brought together numerous stakeholders, including the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, GOPA Consultants, as well as representatives from organizations and technical institutions involved in the project. This initiative is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
