We are thrilled to announce that Professor Gina Abou Fadel Saad, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, and Dr. Mary Yazbeck, Head of the Translation Department at the School of Translators and Interpreters of Beirut, visited the USJ Campus in Dubai from February 25^th to 27^th. They were joined by Dr. Nathalie Sabbagh, Director of the Dubai Campus, Dr. Melissa Mouzannar, Head of the Master in Translation program, and Dr. Nada Khoury, Head of Quality Assurance, to participate in the renewal meetings for the accreditation of the Master in Translation program, which was established 10 years ago.

The Commission for Academic Accreditation under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research was led by Professor Matthew Beedham and included Professors Jane Aiken from Georgetown University, Sura Khrais from Al-Balqa Applied University of Jordan, and Emad Abdel Rahim Dahiyat from the United Arab Emirates University. The accreditation team expressed their satisfaction with the meetings held with various stakeholders (administrators, faculty, students, alumni, and employers) and praised the team for their commitment and the high standards of training provided to future translators.
