Chair of Road Safety Management, Renault Foundation - Saint-Joseph University of Beirut

CHMSR - Chair and Master in Road Safety Management: The activities of the Chair are particularly directed towards the MENA region for a thorough understanding of the factors of road insecurity and their consequences. The objective of the research is to develop and propose solutions adapted to the problems identified and to support initiatives in order to achieve progress in this field. As for the Master's degree, its objective is to train a generation of managerial executives who are specialists in local road safety issues, capable of leading and managing a suitable action or policy aimed at tackling the root causes of road insecurity and achieving sustainable mobility in the Region. Research axes Axis 1: In-depth understanding and analysis of the factors of road insecurity and their consequences through the collection and analysis of these data. Axis 2: Models for planning a political, economic and communication strategy that will improve road safety - Machine learning Axis 3: Search for innovative and technical engineering solutions in the field of road safety for the MENA zone. Axis 4: Road user behavior: the effects of aggressiveness, stress and attention on driving performance using a driving simulator. Axis 5: Vehicle standardization
