Conflict in Lebanon

Lebanon is once again facing a period of conflict affecting the entire population, including our students, instructors, and staff. In times like these, our community has demonstrated remarkable resilience, and Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ) has consistently taken action. Today, as always, it stands fully mobilized, guided by its responsibility to protect its community and uphold its academic mission.

The current situation is understandably causing concern and placing additional strain on our students and staff. The University continues to provide support, particularly through its Counseling Office (SAP), which remains available to all.

In this same spirit of resilience and continuity, we approach the coming period with resolve: by adapting decisively, standing in solidarity, persevering through adversity, and safeguarding our mission. Teaching is being delivered in a hybrid format, and safety measures, emergency contacts, and evacuation plans have been updated in line with current conditions.

USJ remains attentive and responsive as it navigates this difficult time.

Together, we will get through this.
