It consists of analyzing the state of languages in the political and social quagmire of the Near East (Arab countries) for a year or two,  : new appellations, cutting with foreign languages, returning to foreign languages, which foreign languages (English, French, etc. ?), openness to/closing off from languages, the birth of language courses, at what level (primary, complementary, university…), official monopoly of Arabic, etc.
